EDIT: Swapped the G1 for a G5 for $80 total with free delivery and installation. LG and JB were very helpful. No complaints here!
My 65" LG G1 from 2021 has a screen issue that LG can't fix, so they've authorised a free (?) replacement from JB where I originally got it.
Is the LG G5 the easiest way to go for a replacement, or is there a better model these days? Doesn't need to be LG brand I don't think.
I use the TV mainly for films and gaming which is why I went with the top model of the time.
Thanks!
Depending on the panel size, it would be a toss up between S95F and the G5. Samsung does some funky business with which size gets the better QD-Oled panel vs the WOled panel, so be careful about that. Always good to refer to rtings to check out the reviews.
