That is indeed cheap for a THIRD gen GAN 140W charger. But product itself looks sus af. Heck they don't even include their brand in the product title anymore

Not sure if it will actually meet advertised specs tbh.

Plus it’s 100w max per port.

These low cost chargers are dime a dozen on Amazon with ridiculous claims. I have seen 400-600w ones.

      Again, almost certainly not true.

      • +2

There’s one with 10 ports and with bold claim of 1000W

    Is this a genuine TOPADRE

    • No, but it is genuine TO PADRE

    • GANKEJI is an authorised reseller for TOPADRE.

    Ardiente deal, padre

Just fyi, 140watts is max output with multiple ports in use.
Max for USB C port is 100w.

    • Still get 1x65w usbc with all 5 ports in use so could still charge a laptop phone tablet and few others at the same time

Looks the same externally as the Toocki I got from AliExpress a couple of years ago.

    • +1

Agree, my toocki performed really well and powers my home office. Considering getting this

    • +1

Yeah, got two of the tooki ones earlier this year, no issues but they do get hot when running 100w.

I'd be careful with cheap no-brand chargers.
I received one from Amazon not long ago for a review. It had all kinds of electrical certifications on the back, but they'd gone overboard and included unique certification ID's that proved to me that they'd lifted them from the charger of another brand. In other words, it had no Australian safety certification, nor from other countries, but they'd faked it through all the logos. For something consuming as much power as this does, it's just not worth the savings if you can't turn your back on it.

this is too cheap. I’m starting to worry.

Are these safe? Or is there risk of…

    Subject: Fire.
Dear Sir stroke Madam, I am writing to inform you of a fire which has broken out at the premises of… No, that's too formal…
    Dear Sir stroke Madam.
Fire, exclamation mark. Fire, exclamation mark. Help me, exclamation mark. 123 Carrendon Road. Looking forward to hearing from you.

  • Thanks op bought a replacement. The one I have at home seems to be exactly the same but branded as Toocki, fingers crossed it is exactly the same quality which has had no issues for years.

  • Out of stock ?

I was hoping this was a powered USB hub. Anyone have any recommendations? I'm eyeing off an Orico one at the moment.
