Calvin Klein Euphoria for Men Eau de Toilette 100ml

This perfume is a favourite of mine, and I’ve been using it for ages. I was running low, and I couldn’t find any good deals on it. It usually costs up to $50, but did a google search to compare prices and just found it on sale for $44.99! It might not be the best deal for everyone, but with everything getting more expensive, every little bit helps.

I like this scent, but find it doesn't last long.

    • Just the review I was looking for. Would you know something about scent projection? Like do you need to be up close to smell the scent.

My husband has worn this fragrance for 15 years. He puts one squirt on his chest after his morning shower. I can smell it on him all day but it’s subtle and only noticeable when I’m right next to him.

Are you trying to say Mr G need a morning shower? :P

@boomramada: Might just be nose blind to his fragrance, or just prefers a more powerful scent, this one is a bit subdued compared to others.
My husband can’t smell it on himself after it dries either, but I definitely can and I love it. There’s something really sexy about a subtle woody cologne that feels almost like a secret between you and him when you get close.

              Tell us more.

      • My advice is to go into the store with your partner / friend and try different scents out.

Find your favorites and test them out on your skin then you can see if they suit you / last.

As SP44777 said, it can be hard to notice the scent if you're wearing it. This is why I'd suggest having someone else help you find the right scent and giving it some time on your skin before deciding.

        • The problem is that most chemist warehouse fragrance do not have testers available and the unoccupied employees aren't willing to make them available.

Chemist warehouse now stock Lattafa Asad (very close to Dior Sauvage) with bit of spicy notes. That is a longer lasting fragrance

    • Haha yep it’s very close

      • Also loved the Armaf Lionclub Monarque

        • Will try that next time 👍🏽

    EDP or GTFO 🤣

    • Meh it's an arbitrarily meaningless label.

You know the cost of manufacturing perfume, even for the fanciest stuff you can get, is under 16 bucks a bottle.

    • that doest account for all the testing and research for the scent - that adds at least 7c - may evey push it up to 16 bahahhahhaha

    • So the mark up on this premium brand is even less than $20? Bargain! Thanks OP - I’ll order one now.

Do yourself a favour and don’t ever look up the bill of parts for an iPhone. You’ll never take your wallet out of your pocket again…

Wait till I tell you about the cost of 'manufacturing' a piece of developed software.

      • True dat.

I think some people have limited understanding of the r&d process, manufacturing, labour and everything else that goes into bringing any given product to market. A sub 65% gross profit margin like this product is far from excessive when you know the true costs of what many other items cost to produce…

        • It costs less than one person's wage. Hope this helps.

    Confirmed/High Concern Endocrine Disruptors

    Parabens (Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Ethylparaben)
These three parabens are classified as endocrine-disrupting chemicals that interfere with hormone function. Research shows they have estrogenic effects, can bind to estrogen receptors, and disrupt steroid hormone synthesis and secretion. Propylparaben and longer-chain parabens show stronger endocrine-disrupting activity than methylparaben. Studies have linked paraben exposure to reproductive impairment, altered fertility, and hormonal imbalances.

    Butylphenyl Methylpropional (Lilial)
This fragrance ingredient has been banned in the EU since March 1, 2022 due to reproductive toxicity and endocrine disruption concerns. It’s classified as a Category 1B reproductive toxicant, meaning it “may damage fertility and is suspected of damaging the unborn child”. The European Commission identified it as having hormone-disrupting properties, particularly affecting estrogen and male sex hormones.

Cyclopentasiloxane and Cyclohexasiloxane (D5 and D6)
These siloxanes are classified by Environment Canada as persistent, bioaccumulative, and toxic substances. The European Union classifies D4 (related compound) as an endocrine disruptor based on evidence of hormone interference. D5 exposure has been shown to disrupt follicle growth, endometrial receptivity, and steroidogenesis, potentially causing infertility and hormonal imbalances. While European experts consider dermal absorption minimal and use “safe” at low concentrations, D5 is restricted in rinse-off products to 0.1% due to environmental persistence.
