This is a thoroughly beautiful example of cooler climate Malbec. It’s a variety that is producing, more and more, most attractive wines and this is no doubt one of the better examples. Opens with the perfumed notes of red currant and rhubarb with a backdrop of blackcurrant. The seamlessly smooth palate is fruit dominant, supported by fine chalky tannins and just a hint of oak.
