    Yeah not bad

    • naur curved VA? that's kinda bad

      • +2

You talk like an IPS or OLED option was $300

        • -3

IPS, plenty. OLED not so much.

      • -4

No yeah you're somewhat right. I may have misvalued this. The curve part is ok. VA is alright compared to TN. But QHDs are cheap regardless, so should place a standard 165 Hz sub-$200 to make it a good deal

      • +1

The overwhelming majority of curved panels are Va.. folks are ok with them. It’s a hell of a lot cheaper than the OLED alternative, and still gives you enough immersion.

if even marshmall0w2 thinks it's not bad, it's a banger deal

Tbh, I'd prefer something like at like ~$167 or something

      • +2

        tbpf, I won't go over $166 for a 32" QHD.
At that price you're only just getting over 22,207 pixels per dollar.

        ~22,074 pixels/$1 might've been acceptable in 2024.
But ever since Quadpixelgate, when Panasorny advertised their QHD monitors as superior to WQHD monitors because each pixel was taller, people's PP$ have really started to grow.

  • Is this monitor also good for home office use?

  • Just a note, the monitor foot stand is quite short, so you may need either a monitor stand or arm.

    • +1

I have the Omen 31.5" flat IPS one as well and the stand was ok for me. The big plus is the stand is also height adjustable.

      • Yeah, you're right. I realised I had mistaken it for my Samsung monitor.

Curved monitors arent worth it. They take up a lot of space and you find yourself wanting to go back to a flat screen.

    • Not for everyone for sure, some might be ok with that.

      • Yea.. I have a curved 34" monitor for 3+ years and no problems with it.

        • On a different note, once you back to flat screen it'll feel so wrong and awful. Curved it better in all aspects

    Waiting for UHD version

  • I was tossing up between this or the Lenovo 27eq for 192$ * 2. it was on sale at officeowrks. Decided to go for the Lenovo for IPs panel and better quality product all together.

Been about a week I bought 2 of the Lenovo ones - not regretting at all.

I am using this monitor, for this price point, I do recommend it; what I mean is you may resell it at a very similar price on the marketplace if you don't like it

  • Also 27 IPs with better panel for $280. If u prefer IPs and better frame rate and straight panel for losing 5.5 inches. ;)

    • That's not really a deal though.

The lenovo one a couple weeks ago (same specs I believe) was 200

      • Yes I bought 2. I think this is better than the va panel.

  • Anyone know if this is a good replacement for the 34 Mi monitor from few years back?
