  • Alternatives can be up to half the price of the post discounted price, and is still cheaper than blue emu parking. e.g., parkinglink, spaceshuttle parking, park on king, etc.

    • I was looking at these recently for around a 20 day period and found these to be more expensive than airport's own parking. Strange.

      • yeah with a 20-25% promo (pretty much every month) you can park at the airport cheaper than elsewhere. with a family of 5 it was almost cheaper doing that for 3 weeks than if we took the train to and from the airport even

        • I think that says more about the rort that is the Airport access fee than anything else.

    • exactly I just booked space shuttle six days for $88 dollars

even with the 25% cash back it comes in at around $118

  • Still waiting for payout from previous airport cashback that was meant to be approved 2 months back.

Several emails and still no payout.

    • Sorry to hear. Will ask the rep @gotyourback

When was your completed booking date? It states:

      Confirmed in
      120 days after your trip

Cashback will be paid on completed bookings only.

  • Mine eventually got paid 6 months after the trip. Although had to chase it up pretty hard.

  • +1

There is a trick that I always use, but you will need to have a car which is insured, and also you don't mind parking on the street for the duration of your trip. Steps :
    1. There are free unlimited street parking (not disclosing) within 2-4 stops of the 420 bus, so on the way there you drop off everything (incl people) at the airport, you drive and park there, and ride the 420 to the airport.
    2. Enjoy your holiday.
    3. When return, you, the driver, don't collect your bags, and you let your travel companions collect them. Once you get off the plane you rush off through immigration / customs and straight to the bus stop for the 420 to get to your car.
    4. your travel companion grabs the bags, through immigration and customs, and wait for you at the free pickup area.
    5. The timing should be right, because Sydney airport is horrible with bags (assume no status), and custom inspections.

so in a nutshell, when return you are not wasting much time, but you saved the parking, or the taxi / uber fare.

  • is it capped at 50 or 30, title/description not matching unless as usual my brain isn't functioning

    • Typical SB. It would be $50 as per banner and offer page here.

  • Is it pretty easy to get parking at P2? Esp on Sunday early morning? I read some recent reviews that there were some construction and they tend to oversell so they had to park on the roof as there is nothing available undercover.
