The Sydney Flames are the only professional women's basketball team in NSW and they play in the WNBL. On Thursday night they host the Canberra Capitals at Quaycentre, Sydney Olympic Park. Flames games are lots of fun for the entire family with lots on interactivity for children along with world class basketball action.
The Flames roster includes Opal Loz Nicholson who is back from having a baby, Keely Froling who spent last season in Geelong, Shaneice Swain who is a rising star, Agnes Emma-Nnopu, Unique Thompson and Olivia Epoupa who has won a WNBL championship with the Capitals.
This Thursday is also Teacher Appreciation night when we pay tribute to school teachers, especially those who have promoted basketball at their schools.
Limited street parking is available and P3 car park is also available within a short walk. Sydney Olympic Park train station is a 10 minute walk from Quaycentre.
