Decent deal for a vac that does everything/has the proper spinning mop heads but..

As someone who bought a D10s Plus 'on sale' (now can be found like half what I paid like 2 years something ago, crappy non spinning mop head), I would genuinely just buy a solid 200-300 dollar robovac you have to empty each time, Auto empty station takes up a lot of space/can be an eyesore. The lower profile units just for charging can be hidden easily under furniture. Also assume accessories/filters etc scale up as you get more expensive (unless you by knockoff stuff though I've read YMMV whether this causes issues with your vac).

Then get yourself a simple microfibre mop https://www.amazon.com.au/Spray-Mops-Wet-Floor-Cleaning/dp/B… or similar (doesn't have to be this one, I bought one slightly cheaper, was just an example), and use it occasionally for most traveled hardfloor areas etc. I use mine probably once every 2 weeks to clean up main areas/bathrooms etc and doesn't require a lot of time or effort/dries super fast. Big mop (bunnings) only comes out for big messes/big top-to-bottom cleans..

If my D10s died, I'd go with the exact above approach for best value. If your floor is getting THAT dirty you need to mop it so regularly, maybe consider your habits (or ensuring if with children, shoes off at door, blah blah).

To each their own but throwing in my value 2 cent XD

  • Still waiting on ecovacs to refund me after the vacuum motor died on my T30 omni base station, in the second month of ownership.

  • Bad luck if you want to click and collect in Far North Queensland…. Not available in every store and $200 delivery…. what a shit show..

  • Price is better at Amazon and free delivery if you have prime….
