  • Similar price at ALDI - $10.99 for 90m which is ~$6.10 for 50m

    • Multix is better quality than Aldi though.

    Any PFAS in these?

    • No, according to Multix.

      • Where to check? I went to their website and also zoom in the photo of the packaging on Amazon but couldn’t find the info.

Bleached paper can contain trace amounts of various chemicals depending on the bleaching process, most commonly including remnants from agents like chlorine dioxide, hydrogen peroxide, or ozone. Older or less regulated methods could result in byproducts like dioxins and furans, although modern processes aim to eliminate these. Some paper products may also have PFAS added for specific properties.

          • @easternculture: So you mean even the manufacturers claimed no nasties are added but there will still be by products from the manufacturing process?

@FrugalNotStingy: They are allowed to claim as long as a "x" percentage of the toxins are removed.

Steer away from any bleached paper/tissues and aluminum foil. Also the so called oven bags as they will fill your hot food with billions of microplastic particles

Bleached parchment paper is what you want to buy: untreated and chlorine free

  • Foil is $7, not $6?

Thanks. My original post was only for the baking paper. Someone else edited to include the foil. Updated now.
