I don't normally agree with you.
… But you're absolutely correct this time. This isn't a deal.

Absolutely agree!

Where are the good deals? Haven't seen one recently

All the prices have been going up due to DDR prices going up. Also gotta get those RRPs up before black friday.

So it's not a good deal but there are no other good deals. Got it

Lately I'm like, no dual gigabit ports no deal!

Same here :)

Earlier in August it seems the Gmktec G3 with N100 was only a little over $100 on sale. N150 is only marginally better so I don't think this is a great price.
(Edit: FYI the Gmktec G3 I am now aware requires a SATA m.2 drive, rather than nvme, which can be a pain to find. I wouldn't trust the vendor/OEM SSDs these Mini PCs ship with)
DDR 4, no USB C ports. No mention of ethernet port speed.
Kinda garbage.
Component prices are ridiculous these days :(

How can the N95 be more than $130 more, seems a bit strange.

For reference, since this always confused me.

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/sku/233090/… etcCPU, multi-thread rating, single-thread rating, Typical TDP, Max memory, Graphics.
N95, 5,310 , 1,910, 15W, 16GB, Intel UHD Graphics 1.2GHz
N97, 5,890 , 2,050, 12W, 32GB, Intel UHD Graphics 1.2GHz
N100, 5,360 , 1,900, 6W, 16GB, Intel UHD Graphics 0.75GHz
N150, 5,440 , 1,910, 6W, 16GB, Intel UHD Graphics 1.0GHz
Interesting max mem is 16GB on N150/100.. Kinda lame? It really feels like that's an artificial limit somehow.. Surely all modern platforms should innately support 32gb+ (bar say, ARM processors).
With that said, Dell optiplex units (8-10th gen etc) usually state 32gb max RAM too, but many confirmed reports of 64GB kits running in them. Depends if it's soldered I spose!

The Max Memory quoted is from the INTEL site. Individual implementations may have more but would be unsupported.

My last N100 from March 2025 - GMKtec G2 Mini PC (Intel N100, 12GB DDR5 RAM, 512GB SSD, Win11 Pro) - was ~$120 AUD after cashback.
I didn't know the price went up that much (but definitely wouldn't order one at double the price to have an N150).I think this is more a forum post than a deal post tbh.

Is it possible that the days of ultra cheap mini pc's are behind us?
I ordered an N100 GMKtec (12GB RAM, 512GB SSD) in July from an OB link - $139 from AliExpress.Since then I have been keeping a loose eye on prices as I want to get another one for myself and a friend is also looking.
However, it is rare to see them under $200 - usually OOS very quickly at this price point.
The one listed here for $260 is a pretty good price at the moment….
Yeah.. I dunno. I was hoping for that Minisforum N150 for my parents - sticking to a brand I might be able to contact if needed as it's not for me - it's previously been sub 200 Amazon AU but not seen since.. Actually I think it's gone lol.
I didn't wanna gamble an AE pc for the rents though.

I have this and I love it. Paid the same price a few weeks ago

No it's not
