$999 for this great ultra wide oled monitor.
Not as good as the Alienware AW3425DW deal last month as that's a newer panel with 240 hz but this is still a great monitor and one that I have had the first gen version of myself for nearly 2 and a half years.
You can take an additional $100 off by trading in an old monitor and the Black Friday $50 e-voucher if you got it.
10% off if you add an SSD plus 5% off by using Samsung Pay. Potentially another $100 if you can get a loyalty voucher?

Potential savings (not sure if everything is stackable)

Haven't added in the 10% off from the SSD bundle as the price will depend on what size you get.

  • where do you get the $100 off code? I only got a 10% off code

    • $100 for monitor trade in and $100 if you ask for a loyalty discount through live chat

      • the online chat only give me a 10% off code instead of $100 off code. could you please tell me what is the $100 off code start with?

  • Argh this has thrown a spanner in the works. Currently running 3x Dell S2721DGF. Been looking at upgrading just the middle one to a 32" 4K OLED 144hz+ but hadn't considered replacing all 3 with something like this or bigger

Those 3 Dells you have are 1440p monitors, so how's gaming at 7680 x 1440 resolution? Much FPS? I guess with DLSS it's possible to reach 60 fps?

      • On the rare occasion I'll fire up Flight Sim or a racing game but outside of that I only use the middle for gaming

  • Been using this monitor for almost a year now and it's great! Only issue is the slow Samsung OS, paid $1300 for it last year.

  • Is this the 3rd gen or whatever newest gen ofboled panel, unlike the alienware one?

    • +1

From the looks of the specs, I think it's a gen 1 panel. TFT Direct has a chart and the Gen 1 Ultrawide panels have a max refresh rate of 175hz, so I'm guessing that this is gen 1.

Had this for a year but would not recommend even for this price tbh.
There is so many issues with it such as HDR peak brightness being stuck at 400 nits also half the time when waking pc from sleep the monitor dosnt turn on until you power it on from the remote.
Widescreen is cool but the issues with this monitor really does my head in it has to be one of the worst I have had but picture quality is really nice and having samsung tv channels is cool. Lastly changing inputs on samsung software is such a pain in the a** after an update which removed them from the home screen.

also half the time when waking pc from sleep the monitor dosnt turn on until you power it on from the remote.

I think this is a Samsung Monitor OS special feature. My older Odyssey G65B has the exact same issue. It has made me swear that I'll never get any monitor with any kind of SmartOS, it's only a hindrance.

Agreed I miss having a monitor with no OS. Funny thing is it doesnt happen all the time so I move my mouse expecting it to turn on but about half the time it dosnt and I sit there waiting for it to turn on, also it takes ages for the stupid animation to complete and the monitor turn on, I bought it for 1200 and wished I purchased anything else but it was already a few weeks in so I am trying to warn people against this monitor.

        • +1

Also when you turn it on it has a menu which pops up at the bottom blocking your task bar so you have to wait ten seconds for it to minimize.

Samsung did no research on this thing to make it practical.

          • @amerh: Are you sure there’s no option in the menu to turn off this startup menu?
            I feel your pain bruh

  • Same as other posters, had the previous version with micro-HDMI but pretty much the same issue with monitor not turning on half the time from sleep. I recommend just waiting for the HP omen 32" 4k oled to go on sale again for like $1200.
Kinda regretting this purchase tbh, stuck in this limbo of monitor being annoying to use but at the same time good enough that I can't justify spending 1 grand on another oled monitor……
