  • More info required for transparency. What is the capacity of the 4 indoor heads included in this specific deal?

This is the system on offer Rinnai 18kW MON6H18B multi split system.

    2 x 2.5kW, Ideal for small areas with < 20 m²
1 x 5kW, ideal for medium areas with 20-40 m²
1x 8kW, Ideal for large spaces >50 m²

    • Which indoor unit is included with the $4,399 package? Wall mounted?

    • Nice, thanks for the info.

    Demand Response Enabled (DRED)

Is this even used in Victoria? Thought it was only a Queensland thing

    • The manufacturer provides this compatibility. It is up to an energy retailer to offer Demand Response programs.

So… it’s useless to your customers?

  • Is there any similar offers for Queensland?

    • And for NSW? I've been getting quotes for 12kw or 14kw systems that are 2-4x what's being quoted

  • that sounds too good to be true. VIC Rebate will cover about 6k for the unit.. so might be doable.

  • How is the install done on these in a double story house where you want a couple of units at the front of the house and a couple at the back of the house, both upstairs and downstairs?
Will there be lots of pipes showing external of the house to accommodate?

    • +1

Yep it's a thin insulated pipe. We had ours covered/shrouded in colorbond that matches our bricks so it's barely noticeable.

  • I got quoted 2400 for this exact same thing (MON6H18B). single story for what its worth.

    • Yeah same here

      • including installation?

      • Which company?

    • I paid $2200 for the exact same system back in April installed with another business. Definitely recommend doing research and finding the best deal with service

      • +2

Which company did you go with? And how was the quality of the installation?

        • Keen to know as well

Hi Rep. How much would this cost to supply and install normally without VIC rebate? Would a system like this be suitable as instead of / replacement for a ducted system?
