Same price for black and white. Seems like a decent price compared to current retailers and to the ATL at $372 last week at Selby Acoustics.

Hi there, the S8 there seems to be also on sale at $450, which is not too low, but decent. I may end up going for it, thanks for your input.
Edifier T5 and T5s - has anyone had any ongoing experience with either one? They seem to be in a league of their own price-wise, compared to major subwoofer brands.
Completely new to the whole audio world, I'm reluctant to go used, especially with subs, as people tend to be childish with them. Hunting for some wild discounts throughout November across the hifi stores.
Screw neighbors, get a sub if you want one. just because you rent doesnt mean you dont get to enjoy things.

Lol - was also just to tidy up the space/make moving easier, though we've been in villas for years now anyway/unlikely to move back into a unit/apartment.. But then the question becomes what I wanna spend/making neat cabling for the sub on the floor with a standup desk hehe.
Should've kept my Wharfdale, tbh. Was a great entry level sub, all the bass I ever needed. Auto off/standby feature worked pretty well too, and had the connections I needed (RCA from DAC/AMP to Sub then Sub back up to speakers).

Would rather have 2 wharfedale sw150's, can pick them up cheap second hand… Speaking from experience

This is why we're doomed as a society

There's plenty of reviews out there on the S6
I got one and I'm happy with it, bass is meant to be tighter than the S8 which suits what I listen to a little better.

What speakers do you have it paired with?

Triangle BR03

Fully Sick!

I had a Wharfdale SW150 years ago that paired really well with my old Audioengine A5+.. I sold it because renting etc didn't wanna disturb other people / less cables yada yada.
The S8 back then cost like 400~, is the S6 even any good? My A5's already have 5.5 woofers, though obviously not deepset/dedicated like a sub, and my Edifiers in my living room are the S3000Pros with 6.5". I can't imagine a 6" is going to give that nice deep and smooth rumble?
Was considering nabbing a sub on the cheap but.. 382 isn't cheap haha. I've seen the Edifier T5 (8 inch) go as low as 180 with ebay codes though.. Not as clean/tidy as this I guess..?
