[Back Order] Samsung 77" S95F OLED 4K Smart AI TV $4,998 + Delivery ($0 to Select Areas/NSW C&C) @ Appliance Central (Excl. TAS)

90

I've been eyeing these for a little while and waiting for Black Friday, but it seems like prices are dropping a bit early. JB has this down to $5386, but Appliance Central seems like the lowest (though apparently on backorder for a few weeks).

The other sizes are on sale too:

65" $3220 https://www.appliancecentral.com.au/qa65s95fawxxy-samsung-65…

Other competitors in this space (OLED flagship models) are:

Sony Bravia II (only goes up to 65"): $4188 (though I've seen a bit lower) https://www.videopro.com.au/product/sony-65-bravia-8-ii-qd-o…

LG G5 (slightly worse W-OLED techology rather than QD-OLED, but glossy screen for the deepest blacks in a dark room) $3980 https://www.videopro.com.au/product/lg-65-oled-evo-g5-ai-uhd…

Note that the 83" model of the Samsung is also W-OLED rather than QD-OLED, so it's probably not a great deal.

The Sony has by far the best operating system, and supports Dolby Vision (which the Samsung doesn't), so it would my go to if you're looking for 65", but the other two get notably brighter.

NOTE: Appliance Central will not ship any TVs to Tasmania.

Would strongly recommend checking out the S95F's matte coating in person if you can. A few people might prefer a glossy finish instead, but I'm a big fan of the matte.

I bought a 65" a few months ago and it's been outstanding. Matte finish works super well in my room with a few windows - zero regrets, and the panel is fantastic.

  • I have the 95D and it’s the best TV we’ve ever had.

We previously had an LG OLED C2 and the Samsung is infinitely better- particularly in a room with lots of natural light.

It’s extremely bright and the non reflective coating does wonders. The C2 also used to shit me because the panel wasn’t flat- and the mirror finish would show every imperfection.

Check edu store if you have access, picked up the 65 for under 3k yesterday. 77 is similar price to this but has free delivery.

    • The EDU store store had some huge discounts recently, I picked up the S95F 77" for $4170 with stacked discounts a month ago. Great TV

      • Could you please proivde link for edu store?

      • Why didn’t you tell us about it

      I snagged the 65 for $2,738.23 - solid deal

    • How does one get access to the edu store? Is it like the apple one, where you can just access with a link?

  • The 55" is so hard to find

Buyer beware, there are tonnes of complaints about the matte coating to the point where people are removing it and noticing a huge improvement. Because the coating spreads light, it makes the picture look oily/hazy. I highly recommend looking at it in store prior to purchasing.

I bought the 77 inch s95f today from Samsung for 4259. 5386-375 trade in. Then asked Samsung chat for a coupon and they provided a 15 % coupon which brought the price down to 4259..

Was originally going to go for the LG G5 but at that price I couldn't say no.

    • Great price! They only gave me a 10% off voucher - but if you pay via Samsung Pay you get an extra 5% off - gets it down to 4284 delivered for me.

      • Sooo I went down to Harvey Norman and they offered it at 4240 and the LG G5 at 4500.

  • Deal is over as of 23/11/2025.

Was waiting to get my wall checked to see if I could mount the TV before buying, and every store across the board has shot up about $1k. The 77" was $4,990, now its $6,850
