          Im seeing:

          • Cellarbrations $45.00
          • IGA Liquor $51.99
          • Thirsty Camel $55.99
          • Dan Murphys $39.00 (members special) not part of this deal
  • Any of these small players do a price match?

    • i don't think so. Celebrations don't, I asked and they said they can't compete with Colesworth bulk buying.

Man $40+ for a 10 pack, I'll stick to goon bags.

    • +1

      and they're only 4.5%

Usually the 6% kirin or 196 are $45-$50.

      • There's a 6% version of Hard Rated too

    • Monsuta 10pk are $44 BWS and Dan's fairly often (7.3%l

      • +2

        monsuta (10 x 350ml @ 7.3%) = 202 grams alcohol for $44 = $2.18 per standard drink
        $10 goon bag (4l @ 11.5%) = 363 grams alcohol for $10 = $0.28 per standard drink

enjoy cheap chuhai when you're in japan. take advantage of cheap aussie wine when you're in australia.

        • +2

          Enjoy that lol
You could just get methanol or white spirits if you're only worried about alcohol percentage (and drink it though a bread roll).

1.25L south island is pretty good tasting goon for $24.

          • @G-Shock: japanese chuhai is seen as cheap rotgut in japan, meanwhile aussie wine (even cask) is seen as a classy and premium product. the opposite is true in australia. it's just marketing and different perceptions. the cheapest aussie cask is just as good as japanese chuhai.

            • @devilbabies: Yeah none of that is my favourite over heren but 196 ticks most of the boxes (and sugar free) when on special.

Correct wine isn't cheap in SE/Asia.

          • @G-Shock: Methanol is not safe to consume ;)

        • They aren't devilbabies, it is fetal alcohol syndrome.

  • So expensive it’s not even worth it after cashback

  • Anyone else having an error when trying to upload the receipt? Tried 3 different browsers etc.

    • Yep saying my code is invalid

FY I it's a $20 Digital Prepaid Mastercard added to your digital wallet, not a bank transfer to your account

  • $49.99 at Cellarbrations near me. I had a $10 gift card from their spin and win promo. So $19.99 for 10 Hard Rated Zero. I got the mastercard already. It worked at the ATO.

Gotta admire the commitment to paying $20 off your HELP debt while half cut.
