seems handy: Wifi/Bluetooth/Infrared/Magnetic Suspicious Device scan
The body of your deal is too short. You need at least 10 words.

But this has pro in the name, must be good-er
pro-er
Pro is for amateurs now, due to title inflation, the truly great now use the "Elite" or "Enterprise" version and it must have added "AI" goodness ;-)
How exactly does this work? Just vague "advanced technology" according to description.
Sounds like shovelware
It scans wifi and bluetooth devices, and if detects a wifi/Bluetooth name as "camera_brand_name" then it says there is a camera. It's a glorified name lookup/dictionary app.
It probably checks if specific ports used in those devices as well, but again, doubt that other apps don't do this already.
do you know of any paid apps that do this?
(I don't really believe this app actually does this - but could be wrong)
Kismet and Wireshark are some examples of some protocol analysis tools. Some ppl call them packet sniffers. No mobile apps exist for these, so they have to be run on something like a laptop or a single board pc.
Frequently used by hackers too as a tool to look for exploits in wireless comms or just simple reconnaissance (like wardriving https://www.reddit.com/r/hacking/comments/10j6ksw/what_is_wa… which involves driving around in a car, or walking on foot for collecting SSID / MAC addresses and putting the results on a map)
@scrimshaw: Thx.
I remember hearing about some 'homeless' tech guy driving around living in a van in the USA and logging in through peoples wifis - though I think he targeted open (no p/w) wifis.
After using it, he would tell the owners how to secure it (print off instructions and leave i their mailbox).
Have some faith, my child. It works through sheer belief alone
It works by taking over your phone's camera whenever it likes 😁
LOL rubbish app
Absolute bs this shouldn't even be allowed 🙄
There's a whole lot of red flags with this app. Developer has a bunch of other single-purpose apps which are free, and all of the ones that were previously paid has gone free,…all at the same time? https://play.google.com/store/apps/developer?id=Ai+Apps+SRL&…
There are zero reviews on the app but somehow it has 10k downloads. Free version of the app has 1million downloads and also no reviews
If you have no particular use for the app, I personally wouldn't download it for the sake of keeping the perpetual free license. If I were a malware developer, that's exactly the tactic I would use to get lots of people to download my app — by first setting a price, and then making it free for a limited time so people will grab it out of FOMO.
Ahhh good old Android safety and security.
Yeah it looks pretty rudimentary from what I can see from the apk.
You'd be better off using WiFiman.
Although they appear to have attended the same school as I, the school of rolling face against keyboard for debug prints.
System.out.println((Object) "DKDKKWKEOPDLKSKDKDKDOSPSKWLKW 1111");
System.out.println((Object) "KDJFJEIJIDIJWKWKDK 322134");
I suspect this is some slop app factory just making money off ads. I can't be bothered diffing it with the free version to find out for sure.
Any similar or better app for iPhone ?
Installed on old mobile to try at home…
Detected 2 wifi "Suspicious Devices"…
Which were TV & other mobile.
And so many Bluetooth "Suspicious Devices"…
TV, other mobile, speakers, toothbrush, etc
Tried again - the list got longer even though nothing had changed in a minute!
Doesn't distinguish between normal device use & hidden cameras. Just reports Device Name. That should show using other wifi etc detracting apps.
So unless hidden camera is labelled as a camera - unlikely you would know it was there!!
No way to remove Devices previously found safe from detected list.
Would be an overwhelming number of "Suspicious Devices" if used in a hotel etc!!
Certainly not recommended if you are paranoid!
Uninstalled
Im sure it works like all their other 'apps'
