In my past experience with Insure&Go, my secondhand items (camera equipment) as discussed with a case manager, would be declined if I got into any incidents with them. This is despite having serial numbers and photos of all equipment prior to departure. They would only accept an original receipt as evidence.
I don't have any experience claiming medical but based upon the above, they were happy to refund my policy as my covered items were predominantly purchased second hand and wouldn't be covered
Got the same email. Even with the discount, Insure&Go is cheaper for my upcoming Korea and Japan trip
