Access PressDisplay via State Library of Victoria

I live in NSW and was following the discussion on subscribing to newspapers and decided to get State Library of Victoria membership which some had suggested would allow me to access PressDisplay from home.

Got the card today but it returns an error when trying to login to PressDisplay.

Has anyone actually got this to work?

I applied for the NSW State Library as well but the card has still not arrived.

    My City of Yarra library number works on Press Display. Maybe send your library an email?

    Actually think I can answer your question.
    The SLV have tried to prevent people such as you (Non VIC residents) from gaining full membership features by preventing anyone who doesnt provide a Victorian Adress from using Press Display.

    I had the same issue, then after giving my Victorian adress and having that recorded into the SLV database saw that PressDisplay started to work immediately. You will have more luck with the NSW State Libary Card hopefully.

    Thanks. Did you have to supply proof of residence to the library or did they just take your word for it? Do you think I'd be able to use my sister's address in Melbourne?

      I think proof was needed but nothing to loose give it a shot over the phone.

    Got the NSW state lib card. Pressdisplay is Amazing!!
