Beware iiBuy - Defect monitor, No after sale service at all

Hi everyone, jut want to talk about my shopping experience of iiBuy.com.au.

I purchased a Computer Monitor from iiBuy showroom in rockdale on 25/01/2013.When I opened it at home,I found a small chip on the middle of the screen. One of my friend who did unbox together can witness that.

On the next day,I brought it back and ask to change a new one,the boss refused. He said it is physical damage,he may not claim DOA(defect on arrive) from supplier. After I insisted,he promised to contact supplier and reply me ASAP after Australia Day holiday.

However,in the next two weeks, they tried to put me off, they never contact me,and in the last call, they said their supplier reject to do warranty for a physical damaged product,so they cant do anything. I was surprised,I cant understand why a defect monitor suddenly became a monitor needs to do warranty!

Lots of similar cases and negative feedback from their Ebay Store!

  • That's bull! Contact via Email (need proof of contact) AND call them and say if they do not either exchange or refund you will put your case to the ACCC. You get onto that straight away! Do not be told lies, the store is responsible for their own stock and you have rights. Contact seller and if they say "cannot do anything" ring and file a claim with the ACCC!

    • thanks buddy, after lodged a complant to fair trading,I got a replacement monitor.
