Which of these TV's ?

Sony Bravia 60” EX640 Series
PS64E550 64" Plasma Sammy
Sharp LC60LE630X 60 inch 152.4cm Aquos Full HD LED LCD TV
Samsung UA60EH6000 Series 6 60 Inch 153cm Full HD LED LCD TV

For the parents,
They will not be using 3D, and TV smarts will not interest them,

The primary focus of this tv is to watch ABC + Fox Sports,

Power usage isn't that big of a deal,

Or is there another TV i should consider ??

Thanks

Whatever is cheapest if you don't need any features.

    Lg 60pa6500 is cheap, $1000~

My mother in law uses it for foxtel, footy, lifestyle. Happy as a pig in shit.

  • I'm looking at getting the PS64E550 since it's got good screen size and isn't too expensive (circa $1600). I'm not fussed about 3D or Smart TV features either but I was tossing up between this and the Sharp 70" which only has screen size but costs double.

The Sharp LC60LE630X however should be quite a bit cheaper (closer to the $1200 mark I'd guesstimate?). Only thing worrying about Sharp is the number of online comments about their financial dire which puts the 3 year manufacturers warranty on their TVs into a bit of a question mark.

  • Panasonic Plasma is supposedly the best picture quality (for their higher end anyway)

    • Yah everyone on DTV and various other review sites rave about their plasma tvs but I heard their cheaper stuff is really rubbish (like unwatchable compared to similarly priced tvs). Can't remember the model review I was reading but it was the cheapest 2012 plasma which apparently had green tints on the shadows.
