Was at Bunnings Artarmon and noted they had some special clearance items.

This one is for surge protection power board was $39.90, but now $10. It also protects other things like TV aerial and phone lines. Also has a USB hub, but note the hub does not supply power from the packaging description.

The specials are located near the lighting section all the way in the left as you walk in. There are some other specials there as well.

I think this is specific to Artarmon as the guy was saying they wanted to clear some shelves.

They had more than 20 as of Friday.

Also on Clearance is a 2 in 1 Flexi Torchlight reduced from $29.90 to $5.

    Sounds brilliant that the powerboard can cut-off power to the bluray player (for example) when I switch off the TV to standby mode using the TV remote control.

      I don't think it is. I think it is to this store only as they were clearing up space on the shelves and this item was probably not selling well at the original price.

    Bunnings have a store by store stock-take clearance policy. I have sometimes been able to price match other stores if you ask the department rep.

    yes, i think it was $15 , not $39.90 because when i scan it to the checkout machine, it display $15 only, then the staff manually input $10 for me .

    Big thumbs up for finding the specials in a store as big as bunnings. Any suggestion on the torch being splash or water proof? I have a need for something that could get rather wet.

          Fair enough. Was a good deal so not surprised it sold out already. FWIW it does not mention anything about splash or waterproof.

    There are some on clearance at the Nunnawadding store (Vic). Not sure of the price.
    I can check and update the thread if there are any left next time I am working (Saturday).

    If you are keen, ring your local store. (Mention it is a clearance item, so they don't go looking on the shelf).

        The brand is 'Prima'. Probably a generic chinese brand.

    I bought one of these a while ago when they were $20. The master/slave function works really well. I have my TV, surround sound and PVR all hooked up to it.

    I saw these in either the Nth Wollongong or Warrawong store the other day for $6 on clearance. There were about, ummm, 10 of them in a box in the lighting section. I also got those flexible torches before Xmas for $5 on clearance. Bought the last four of them and put them in Xmas stockings. Son and family used theirs in their January caravan holiday and thought theirs was great. Now they're looking for another one.

    If you need cables for a home theatre, they're going for $4.90 - svideo, toslink, rca, hdmi, dvi with gold connectors and different lengths (.5 - 3m)

    Got this when it was $20 just before Christmas. Very cheaply built in my opinion, the master/slave power saving feature stopped working for me after about a week.

    At least a dozen in stock at Nunawading VIC. They are priced at $15 on the clearance tag, but i bought 2 by advising it was marked as $10 at other Bunnings stores and also had proof from this site if they caused me any grief. pretty good deal - thanks poster!

      My Bunnings had these for $19.95 RRP reduced to $9.95 clearance price last week hence your theory makes perfect sense. BTW the build quality and plastic of these is pretty average and nowhere near the Huntkey ones which are amazningly well-built.

    Artarmon Store stock all gone…..

    Local store at The Crossroad is $5 dearer each item. I will go again tomorrow and show them the pictures and hopefully will get them cheaper.
