International Power Board (Extention)

Anyone where I can get an international powerboard for cheap?

Like this one:

or is the price pretty standard?

Cheers

nearly $50 seems expensive. and it doesn't even have insulated pins or approval. i would not buy it.

    • have any idea where I could get cheaper ones? (online and in store)

I'm pretty sure that one is made for China, not Australia. The Chinese plug, although similar, is inverted to ours and the pins are not insulated. I did recently buy this one myself for plugging in the odd international appliance, but it also has the inverted Chinese plug. It's only 2-way but a bit cheaper especially if you don't need a lot of outlets. <$10 delivered. http://www.tinydeal.com/2-outlets-au-electric-ac-power-bar-s… (or a "4" way http://www.tinydeal.com/4-outlets-au-electric-ac-power-split…)

    • It doesnt matter that its a chinese plug because I have a converter… I just dont want to have to use 10 converters for my 10 asian-plug devices (an exaggeration obviously - but you get the point)

Thanks for the links tho. :)

  • What are you trying to achieve?

When I travel I use a cheap power point adaptor with a cheap Aussie power board. Total cost less than $10.

Unless you bizzarly have a different device from each country, why do you need a full board of adapters?

If you are from Japan living in Oz for example get one cheap Oz to Jap converter and then get a cheap Jap powerboard.
