    im interested in the 120gb drive. Do you need a bracket for installing in laptops? or do you plug it in your laptop as is?

      It's a 7mm drive but it comes with an adhesive thingo to make it fit 9mm bays snugly so if you're replacing your laptop drive then it should be a straight swap, provided your laptop drive is SATA of course.

      If you're looking to replace an optical drive then you may need something else.

      short story:
      not all Samsung one come with migration software, at least my 256GB 830 doesn't!
      did some research and found that a lot of people were complaining about it too…

      long story:
      the manual/software CD that came with it mention some migration software(either in the manual/software), you could download the Norton Ghost from Samsung website but it doesn't come with a valid serial number!
      so in other word: it doesn't come with the migration software, unless the package specify it does!

      they(Samsung) should have taken the "Migration Software" thingy off from their website, it's really misleading! and don't trust all the reviewing website & assume that you'll get the exact same thing like they do……

    I tried a few times to buy using paypal, but it failed every time without a useful error message. I was hoping to use an expiring prepaid credit card. Anyone else have a problem with paypal?

      No, its working fine, just ordered.

      There maybe an issue with the pre paid credit card, i was not aware paypal accepts pre paid cards.

          Sorry, it looks like you are right, it didnt work, no error message, but no paypal transaction or email, and money has not been debited out of my account.

          Trying to order the 120GB does not work either, this maybe sold out now.
