Just noticed this company via one of the ads. I'm fairly happy with Vaya but thought this was an interesting concept.

We'll reward you $5 Yatango credit* for every friend & family member you bring onto Yatango.

Meh, I guess amaysim does similar.

earn up to 7¢/Min when you call a connection, that’s just 8¢/Min for calls (standard rate is 15¢)

Cheap call rate.

Help others with their questions and we will reward you with 10c Yatango credit for every customer service question you answer correctly in the community forum, as rated by our members.

Seems like an interesting gimic but not sure how much you would actually get credited.

5c/MB for data. Probably a good plan for those who only text and make phone calls.

    But at least the definition of "correct" is determined by other members (with the thumb up I guess), rather than by Yatango Mobile themselves.

    The PAYG rates aren't that special though, comparing to Amaysim.

    I've seen their ads displayed with mobile phone accesories etc posted on eBay. Is there a connection between the two?

    I like this. They're using the community to there benefit so they can use there resources elsewhere. Plus we're making a small amount of money.

    Seems like a good concept.

      Yeah, Vaya sort of has a similar user provided support going on except none of the users get credit. Found the FAQ and the Whirlpool thread much more useful than the customer support.
