    post-free hosting packages are ridiculous for what you get :/ no bargain here, simply an attempt at a lock-in

      I dont see any "lock in" here…. the basic/free deal might be perfect for a small home business starting out or just wanting to get an online presence…. they can always transfer if they are not happy to pay the full rates after 6 months.

      As i dont see any locally hosted companies offering free 6 months as standard, I would say its a good deal.
