Be wary — I have this GPS unit — it seems to have no speed limit info. I'd much prefer the Tom Tom One V3 to this (although this does have Text To Speech which is pretty handy; and the mount is vastly superior to the Tom Tom V3).
Then what excuse do you have for the police officer WaywardOne?
This may not have speed limit info, but if you were driving I think you should know what speed limit you are on from the signs on the road!
I've used this within my own state and interstate to Sydney and back, and it's a great unit at the price. I don't think you can find a unit that says street names at this price.
I agree that the mount is good as well. sucks into the windshield very strongly.
Speed limits constantly change with residential areas and school zones. Is it reasonable to expect that everyone is aware of the school calendar? The penalties are harsh too for going over the limit. I personally find local speed limits confusing (in unfamiliar neighbourhoods).
This is reasonable … I've been trying to get a better deal from China through eBay but they won't budge because of US dollar and increasing shipping costs. For a generic 4.3" (yes bigger screen but only 1 year overseas-based warranty) it's $170 shipped. I think I'll be visiting officeworks tomorrow and grabbing one!

They didn't even check the model number … damnit should have tried to get a better model :)
I had a price match at OW Trinity Gardens.
I'd prefer having quantity repair service equals quality auto parts replaced compared to a low priced or budgeted service but of a poor quality auto parts repaired. Or you could take the catalog into Office Works and get them to price match and beat it by 5% to get it for $188.10 :)
