  • great find

  • I'm wondering if it's worth getting those earphones, even at $5…my previous experience with Phillips earphones haven't been very good.

I've been around, and my opinion is that generally speaking Philips is good in terms of product quality and reliability but below average in terms of sound and picture quality.

I think Sony make the best bang-for-buck headphones. Stretch to $30 and you'll probably be pretty happy. Please report back :)

DSE have some great TDK headphones for $5.

It has a reinforced L-shape end so doesn't lose contact after a week of being used like the other cheapie ones.

      • SOrry…never mind

    • Phillips SHE-3590 will blow your mind.
$15 from Dick Smith and the bass response is unreal.
Really good value, definitely pick one up if you can.

Thanks OP. Got the earphones! Very handy when jogging, especially for these rainy days when you don't feel like wetting your "good/expensive" ones! All my in ear headphones fly everywhere and need constant adjusting when exercising. I don't care much about sound quality as long as they can play music :)

  • Out of stock from what I can see. Most of the good clearance items are out of stock. Only crap stuff left.

  • damn cjmorgan - you really are ringing the ringholes out of the ringer on this one.

Just what I've always wanted. Was dreaming of owning a Canon CP20R Red Ink Roller just last night.

  • "can't get too much cheaper then 3cents!!"
So true, one cent lower they will have to give these away for free.

    • +2

you can buy 2 its 6 cents rounded down to 5cents.. so pay 2.5cents each

    • +6

You can. Buy two for 5c, then return one - they give you 5c as a refund meaning you've got one for free.

  • Now I just need to get a landline connected and buy a phone!

  • can't get too much cheaper then 3cents

    • Fixed :) thanks

  • Torx 6 screwdriver, 1 cent: http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/95059. That was one cent US too.

  • 3 cents! bargain for whatever that thing is!!

  • bought the ear hook headphones. Now i only need to find an armband to place my phone so i can start getting some exercise!

    • Deleted cable clips… Use bunnings instead :)

  • Thanks, ordered 2 of the headphones. Would be decent enough for jogging I think. It's also a good thing that OW stopped charging the $5 pickup from store fee.

  • had about 50 things in my cart (total cost $20)
    then it wouldnt take paypal.
so i did regular checkout and it dumped everything from my cart saying that each item was removed because it was "not available online" despite each item being "clearance- online only"
