hey i am unsure whether to risk it and purchase a factory second ultrabook with 3 months warranty, very hesitant. Has anyone bought from this site or know any background regarding factory seconds. Is the Laptop worth the purchase do you think ?

If you're not keen on buying a Factory Second (doesn't say what the fault(s) were?), they're ~$1000-$1100 (doesn't say Factory Second) on StaticIce.
Didn't make it. I wrote the address down wrong the traffic was really bad and i ran out of time, will be passing again in the morning.
They Buysmart also have these listed on ebay as refurbished, so i rang them to inquire factory second or refurb? at first the girl said factory second then when i mentioned ebay she said that they don't know.

Never bought from that site, and never had a Samsung laptop..
But I am typing this on my refurbished Vaio Z. Had it for over 3 years now and it still keeps up with most of the new high end laptops out there. Its never missed a beat, even though it's never been kept in a case and has travelled with me world-wide.
So happy with my refurb I bought my girlfriend one last year, hers looks brand new and works flawlessly too.
My only warning - probably better if you are happy with reformatting/reinstalling Windows (or your operating system of choice) yourself, plus your software suite. With laptops (or any computers) it's rarely the hardware that will fail, but some of the bloatware they come with slow them down significantly.
PS. Have been thinking of getting that model myself, let me know if you end up getting it!
