Melbourne Entertainment Book AFL vouchers confusion!

Hi all

Sorry, newbie to Melb and would love to use my 3 x AFL Reserve vouchers in the current Entertainment Book BUT I am confused… Can anyone please clarify the following:

The vouchers are for AFL Reserve games at the MGC for the Toyota season only.

To my understanding, the actual premier league plays in the NAB competition and not the Toyota comp… right? so what the entertainment book is actually offering are BOGOF offers to a minor reserve league?????

Basically I want to go to a game but I want to see the 1st grade games, and not a reserve grade. Which grade do these vouchers entitle me to see?

Thanks!

does it just mean reserve seating?

Surely it would mean the main AFL, no reserves. jsut the type of seating.

  • no idea.. never been to an AFL game. When I looked at tickets on the AFL homepage and on ticketmaster, they all say NAB season.

Though I hope what you said is correct!

The proper AFL season starting on March 22 is sponsored by Toyota. There is an area set aside at the MCG for AFL members- it is called the AFL Reserve area. Going on this, I would assume it is 3 tickets in that area for any match during the proper season.

Exactly, the NAB Cup is on now and is just the practice matches, the Toyota Premiership Season starts in a few weeks and it sounds like this is what the tickets are for.

  • Thanks guys for the clafication!! Looking forward to some games over the coming weeks!

    cheers

  • Hi cheapskateasian,
It isn't available for all matches especially the busier games.
You'll have better luck with the vouchers at quieter games.
I have some spare vouchers - drop me a pm if you would like more.
