Half price, a great deal - but this is the worst coffee you can buy.

Is it a Coffee in the first place?
If it doesn't smell like coffee… If it doesn't taste like coffee… If it doesn't look like coffee…

      Good price though. :)

Never a truer word said. Black and Gold once made some garbage they marketed as coffee but International Roast is still the benchmark in the workplace where your boss hates their employees (or wants them to give up coffee).

  • Shouldn't they be paying us?

    But is it really international?

    'Employee blend'

    • Put this straight into an empty Nescafe tin and see if they can tell the difference :)

      • Non-coffee drinkers could tell the difference…

        • Assuming its a Blend 43 tin, one is granular and one is fine powder. One is bearable and one is not.

    Visitor's coffee.

    • Is this why Apple is suing Samsung? Samsung HQ served International Roast to Jobs during contract negotiation.

      • Is that true?

        • Yes, it is true. I was there when Jobs stormed out of the reception room and the blood drained from the faces of Samsung Execs.

        • …and the execs got sacked? or was that the tea/coffee lady/girl?

        • leon, if you believe this outrageous tale, you will believe anything. I am just making a joke at your expense. Here is a free smiley for you as my apology.

          :-)

        • Oh. For a while I thought you were the tea boy ;)

        • Yea I got the sack and that's how I ended up in Oz :)

  • remember it is made by nestle who make blend 43. the freecall number on the side is the same.

Call me unrefined, but for years I've been drinking coffee that's got that slightly 'burnt' flavour and International Roast is exactly the taste I love. Wakes me up in the morning. This is a great deal!

    [Slight off-topic]
Years ago while I was studying I worked in a (non high-end) restaurant to make ends meet. They serve filtered coffee but have International Roast as backup for times such as when last few customers order coffee and the boss is too cheap to brew a new pot. It's amazing how many customers praise the 'nice' coffee we served during those occasions.
