My account was hacked by some guy from Russia. I have no idea how. Somehow he was able to change my password without accessing my email account.
He wasnt able to change the email address associated with the account, so I was able to perform a password reset. However my avatar is now some Russian crap, and I can't change it because he has changed the security questions to some other Russian crap.
EA Support could not help me via live text, the guy said sorry, but you will have to call EA support in the US. I used some Skype credit to call them. After one hour I spoke briefly to a lady who told me I was now escalated, and put me back on hold. After another hour, I had to hang up.
Pretty poor service. I know that they are getting smashed with all the problems that Sim City is having, but still.
Has anyone had any experience with this?
I remember there was this post on some website that some Origin accounts were hacked, guess one of those were hacked. Do you play FIFA on your Origin account, i saw one guy got his account back by knowing all the players in that superteam or custom team or something.
