    As always remember to compare with Expedia.ie and other country Expedia websites as they will use the Qantas sale fares plus further discount the final price.

    Omg 30kg luggage! I think this is made in line with emirates' allowance - this is sweet!

    Been flying SQ for more than a decade and last time I flew QF about 2 years ago, on the outbound the check in luggage conveyer belt malfunctioned and staff had to process them manually (we were literally queuing at the terminal entrance), on the inbound the plane was delayed by 6 hours due to an engine malfunction. Well I guess this time the price is quite attractive as well, I might try Qantas this time.

        I see there is a slightly cheaper to book in July thru Expedia ie comparing to others online booking site within australia, and cant read the brazilian ,so have no idea where to find the 300 bucks off,

        can you be more specifi of where to find that discount

          Example.
          SYD->Bangkok 7/10/13 returning 14/10/13 is $668 using expedia brazil flying with Qantas.

          $965 seems to be the qantas price for the same dates.

    Just booked Brisbane to Singapore for $445 return via expedia brazil. Booked about 2 hours ago, and have already received the booking confirmation!

    Qantas flight to Singapore and Bangkok (but not other destinations) seem to be discounted ($200-$300) on expedia brazil matching with the same 'on special' dates (ie. not school holidays nsw) as listed on the qantas website.

    It can't seem to get the discount… is it for certain dates only?

    I wish to fly to LAX late August..

    Are there any additional way to save money and am I correct in believing that we get 2x23kg (46kg) in luggage??

      The international TA trick doesn't always work for every flight, and it seems AUS-USA doesn't work.

      And correct any flight between Australia and North America has 2x23kg baggage allowance. Not 46kg in total but 2 bags of 23kg each.

    The price on Expedia Brazil is cheaper but it is not accepting my credit card. It keeps saying debit cards not accepted even though I am using a proper credit card. Can someone please help with this?

    Edit: Just checked my bank account and there is a pre auth amount of 99 cents but the transaction is not going through. What am I doing wrong?

      You need to call the bank to clear your credit card for this transaction. They are blocking the transaction as a fraud protection measure.
