Is a 4% drop in price on an Amazon.com product deal worthy of a new post

Noticed a hitachi 4tb hard drive was now at lowest price (verified according to camelcamelcamel)
there was a previous linked deal from a 10 days back at approximately 4% more expensive

the posting duplicate guideline does not state anything to do with re-posting when an item drops in price.

One could simply add a comment to the existing deal, but the existing deal won't get bumped to the top.

Also.. what happens if one wants to post an affiliate link etc.

What are the rules! :)

  • It's a tricky one especially with overseas deals as not only does the price fluctuate but the AU dollar fluctuates. Not sure what % would be a good guideline.

Your example $194 shipped. 4% is roughly $187. Is it worth a new deal? IMO, Don't think a $7 difference is worth a new deal for a $194 item. Probably should just update the price if the deal was only posted 10 days ago.
