I'm just checking to see if anyone's come across a good place to grab mini paints from? I like to support my local store (Tactics in Perth), but they're quite exy. I managed to snag The Hobbit paint set for $32 from Milsims but can't seem to find other local suppliers that have worthwhile suggestions.
Anyone come across other good places to get mini paints?
ebay you can often find good sellers (well for minis anyway); maelstrom used to be good until they went under.
Phoenix-Forge.com is a good local one, as is http://www.thecombatcompany.com/ (I prefer combat company personally).
Both charge for shipping on small orders though; $100+ for combat company and shipping is free; PF I don't remember (although I've only done 1 single paint order with them and they somehow mixed up 2 paints which Luke has said he had no idea how it happened. He was reluctant to get the black I ordered out to me and I was reluctant to pay the extra shipping for another bulk elsewhere as I don't have a local minis store).
There's probably a few US/UK stores that have free shipping but I'd have to check somewhere like dakkadakka first before I found them.

Great people, if you are local (like me), they allow for pickup and prices and products are great.
DakkaDakka do have a running post with all verified Mini sellers, so check that for paint and other supplies.
