Wii U from Amazon UK for AU$100 cheaper?

I've noticed I can get a wii u (either version) for around 100 dollars cheaper (including delivery) than it retails in aus, since in the UK amazon forced a price drop itself. Is there anything I'd need to worry about doing this? Like will I need a power adapter? (I know they dont cost much), will the wii u store be the same as the wii u's bought in aus? will the multiplayer region locking still be set to aus etc?

Thanks for your help.

    Hey man,

I bought the Basic Wii U from Amazon (for $253) (thank you ozbargain! :D
Anyway, it's really easy. All you need is:

    2x UK-AU power adapter.

1 for the wii u, and 1 for the Wii u controller in case you want to play and charge.

They are $1 including postage from ebay: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/UK-US-EU-Universal-to-AU-AC-Power…

I have received my wii u and adapters. All in great condition, no complaints.
There was a wii u amazon topic not too long ago. About less than a month now. That's the deal I used.

Hope this all helps. Good luck!

  • Cool thanks!
