Looking at buying a PS3 in the next couple of days - where should I look

I have a sick husband who is feeling very sorry for himself.

And he's decided instead of upgrading the PC it might be nice to spend Easter doing nothing but gaming - and use the money for a console.

Since its the first time in 3 years, I guess it's fair… And it looks like the PS3 might be the go.

But where should I get it - looking at picking it up tommorow and don't want to get ripped off.

And is there a game anyone can recommend that's not mentally taxing, but still has plenty of explosions/entertainment?

Its a nasty cold, nothing serious .. lucky him though :)

I think the ps4 is being released soon. If you wait a bit, prices for ps3 will drop or you could go all out and get a ps4. Hope your husband gets better.

hmm .. I had noticed today people talking about the ps4 on ozbargain and I had wondered if I should wait.

But to be honest we don't get a lot of time to game, so the ps3 is probably fine

We are too old to play until 4am to crawl to work the next morning :) - done that - a ps4 might be too hard to resist!

So unless the ps3 is going to have a huge price drop it's probably not worth holding off, maybe?

Oh and hubble will be fine, although he rarely gets sick so I do try and be understanding.

Try BigW, KMart or any large discount department store.

You'll have to figure out whether you want the 12Gb or the 500Gb console.

Call of Duty Modern warfare (he may have this on computer already if he is a gamer)
