TV Group Buy [Sydney]

Hola,

Me & a mate are in the market for a new TV.
Anyone keen to join an OzBargain group buy? I've got a party of 5 or so OzBargainers interested seeing if anyone else is interested,

The plan is to pick a model we all want or just meet up, form a OzB gang and harass the Bing Lee rep till he gives us a good price.

    My budget is $500-$1000.
    Thinking the Samsung UA50EH6000 for ~$700.

    I'm sure even if we choose diff models, we could still get a deal if we buy on the same day from the same rep/store.

    Does this ever work? ie the lob up and group harassment?

      lol was joking about harassing. Why wouldn't it work?
      Buying 5 TVs off one rep surely he can do us a deal…

      I also need to buy a washing machine, vacuum cleaner and fridge but was gonna do that separately.
