it's water resistance, you are in trouble if you tell customer it's "waterproof"
maybe if you wrap it in cling wrap…
What's the difference? They tested it at the reveal by leaving it in a cup for 30 mins.. no probs.
It actually meets the IP57 certification for dust and water resistance. The '5' in this means that it's 'dust protected' while the '7' means that it can be immersed in water of up to 1m in depth (with a minimum distance of 15cm).
Rep not doing search before posting - cheaper elsewhere —> therefore didn't abide by guidelines.
Get it from DSE for $624. You get an unbadged, stock phone with piece of mind.
Get it from JB/Dickies. You can return it easily if you have a warranty claim instead of piss farting around with an unknown seller.
