Hi I work at Deloitte and they've just released the orders for the 2013/14 Entertainment Book. I guess OzBargainers can order it too; just please pick delivery :)

Deloitte is pleased to be offering for sale the 2013/2014 Entertainment™ Books to help raise funds for The Deloitte Foundation. From each purchase, 20% of the purchase price will go to The Deloitte Foundation. Books will be available from the 15th of April 2013.

    I get this through my work as well, got it last year, its actually pretty good if you remember to use it. You end up saving quite a bit at restaurants
    ex. Save 25% on your meal up to $50 or get a free main when purchasing another to the value of $50

      Your local school usually sells them…

      Or ring up some charity such as the Guide Dogs…

      Last year I called up the office number for the Entertainment Book directly.

      The lady at the Canberra office was very friendly and professional. Asked me if I had in mind a particular preference of charity. Said she would email me a list of nearby fund raisers who she just sent orders to.

      I received an email with links to 3 local charities and chose to go with my favourite local hospital's social club.

    Isn't this just the standard price?

    Just the standard price. I would rather help a charity directly than the "Deloitte Foundation". I don't even think it belongs in the forums, much less in this section.

        This old lady chastised me for letting my daughter (and me as well) throw away food. She told me to think about all the starving people of the world. WTF!

        I knew that she was going on holiday soon, so I told her that 5 times more people die of unclean water than starvation and that she could help them by forgoing her holiday and donating the money.

      Exactly. I think it is shameful that Deloitte are potentially competing against charities for sales.

    For anyone in Adelaide see here: https://www.entertainmentbook.com.au/orderbooks/1673q67 I have worked with One Village (donated IT services) and they do awesome work in uganda and unlike the big charities all money goes straight to the communities in uganda and the Australian committee are all volunteers. Also unlike certain charities they are not Christian based and not a missionary etc.. http://www.onevillage.org.au
