Forward shipping from Amazon Italy to Australia?

Hi All,

I found a bargain on Amazon Italy however they will not ship this product to Australia. However if I can find a cheapish solution to forward it it may still be a (hopefully) very good bargain….

Does anyone know of a good, reliable, cheap way to forward items from the EU? I know plenty of services exist in the US but not sure what is on offer and good for Europe.

Thanks guys!

  • Most sites that ship to EU also ship to UK. A free Borderlinx account provides a UK and US address

  • Thanks. I presume you have used them before?

  • Yes. Sadly you will be paying the VAT tax with the item, would probably find a cheaper deal elsewhere.

  • Yeah, maybe would still be cheap but maybe not as amazing cheap as I would have liked….

  • Can I ask what sort of stuff is good value on Amazon Italy?

    • I don't know if there is anything specific or a general department that is always better value there… What I do know that sometimes products pop up really cheap in some of the Amazon stores, the logic to this is unknown (as an example see the Seenheiser HD650 from Amazon France deal or the Kraps Nespresso machine deals from Amazon Italy).

A very good site to be aware of in this regard is https://pricenoia.com/

In this specific case I was interested in trying to import a pair of headphones that are not available locally yet but are expected to cost $400+ here, can be had for $350 via grey import and what I was looking for was a way to snag the same pair for 190 EU + shipping. (Edit: minus VAT)

  • anyone know when Amazon Australia open, i read the news last year about this.
