  • What does the G stand for?

    • Gerald's.

    • what does i in iPhone/iMac stand for?
      not being facetious, actually curious

        the 'i' stands for idiot…

        Therefore… idiotPhone…

        • Point

        • G for Google…

        • Yeah yeah, idiots walking in their hands another idiot, both starring at each other and asking one another what to do now? beautiful…

      • +1

        "i" stands for internet

        • not sure serious or joking. i didn't stand for internet though. Pretty sure it was a arbitrary marketing idea of Apple.

    • It might stand for Gimmick.

Apparently this 'laptop' suffers from build quality problems. Just see the dd reviews for more information. Probably best avoided.

Look at that battery life, if I used this on the train to work, it would be dead before I get off the train to start the day. While it costs more I think if you had your heart set on Android with keyboard, best to buy a tablet and add-on keyboard. Superior specs all round for a few more dollars.

    • Garbage, Thats exactly what a $129 'Laptop' will be

      • How did I miss that word starting with G. Yes Garbage. If there is a higher model available, that would be the Gimmick :)

Only ideal for buying for someone you dislike.

    not enough ram
    not enough flash memory
    not enough battery capacity
    single core CPU
    don't have WiFi-N (only b/g)

  • +2

While price might seem attractive this seems really rubbish.
Spend a few (lot) more dollars and get something nicer.

On Android? How? And more importantly, why?

  • +1

I feel sorry for the poor ill informed people who'll buy this thing…

  • +2

Microsoft MSN Messenger <<<< isnt it retired?

    • The application Messenger is bring retired, the service it self will remain (FOr use with Skype, WP, Trillion etc)

  • +3

    Junk.

    • +2

egg-actly and junk is never a bargain.

  • Just enough hardware to browse the web, what it is designed to do…

  • You could easily get a dual core laptop with 4gb ram, 15" screen, and heaps of hdd space for the same price on ebay 2nd hand.

  • VIA cpu has been out since a couple of years ago. I believe they're really cheap single core CPU (produced at roughly 1 cents or less each when massed). These types of android PC were on eBay for $60-$100 but they lack in everything.
