thanks, I have not heard of low self discharge batteries, have you tried them, and what do you use them in? I need them for a cordless phone.

i bought some hobby king Low self discharge AAA NiMH batteries about a yr ago, they are great. still holding a full charge

The Aldi rechargeable batteries are around $8 for 4xAAA and will be fine for a cordless phone.
