ING Direct 5% off PayWave Promo - now "first 6 months free"

Heads up for everyone. Just went to ING's website and noticed that they've changed their 5% off Paywave transactions promo slightly.

It now reads, "every contactless purchase for your first 6 months" as opposed to just a common end date for everyone previously of 30th June 2013.

I think I've become so used to getting 5% off Paywave that I kinda can't imagine not having it anymore.. wonder if I can simply cancel the card and re-open an account. I'm sure they'd have some sort of system to prevent people doing that though.

    Feel exactly the same! Completely changed me from never pay wave to doing nothing but pay wave…

    This is awesome… I never jumped on the paywave 5% off bandwagon and thought i had missed the boat.

    Tempted to get the wife to sign up once my 6 month period is over too. I just wish the RAA in SA had paywave so we could purchase wish cards at a discount :-(
