Stanley Rogers Techtonic Hard Anodised 6 Pce Cookware Set on Sale for $99.95

110

Just walked into Harris Scarfe Knox city VIC, they had advertised 40-60% off cookware, 60% off Stanley rogers. found a 6 piece set with advertised RRP price of $549 but no sale price advertised, i was surprised to find when i went to the cashier it scanned up at $99.95 - the same price as the 5 piece set which was already better value than the advertised 60%.
The 6 piece set is a 81.7% discount to RRP so as i need new cookware i was very happy to buy these for 18.3% of RRP :)

This set contains:
16cm Saucepan
18cm Saucepan
20cm Frypan
24cm Cassarole
24cm Saute pan
25cm Grill Pan

Can not find much information online seems like maybe in store item only

Which is strange because from the photo they appear to be magnetic material. They are being stored vertically on the wall :)

RRP in Harris scarfe is always stupid. I'd like to see it NOT included in the title as it is just as misleading as Harris Scarfe practises.

I bought that set of cookware for the exact same price 4 years ago in Harris Scarfe Marion. As Expon said, RRP at Harris Scarfe is unrealistic. I bought that set on Boxing day thinking that it was an awesome price.. then after some months I kept seeing the same "discount" over and over again.
You have to be very careful with the handles as they get very hot during cooking.

    • Apart from the handles, would you recommend them?

  • Stanley Rogers stuff is fine, but you should never go in expecting that the RRP is realistic.

  • Bought some S&R pots from KMart…not the best quality!

  • I got the 5 pc set from COTD before. The frypan scratches pretty easily. But $99.95 for so many pots and pans is very good value.
