Never buy Dell retail :) There are two main regular running Dell coupon codes available in Australia. You can get discount coupons that save 3%-10% depending on the product from those regular deals. Note that Dell sometimes check whether you are eligible to use those coupon codes by ringing you back after the order so make sure you are eligible before using those coupon code.
EPP stands for Employee Purchasing Program and are available to employees, students and members of participating organisations.
Ask your employer or your school/university whether they are participating in Dell EPP (most schools/universities would have I think).

Dell often run specials over specific products for around 1 week ($-off or special bundles) so it might be worthwhile waiting for a few weeks for the product that you have decided to buy. Then you can use the regular coupons (EPP or autoclub member) + MoneyBackCo cashback (currently at 3% ex-GST). Dell's affiliation sales are managed by DGM and sometimes it can take a long time between tracking and payment.
Dell also run special coupons with limited seat, and they send those coupons to their newsletter subscribers (often a bit past mid-night AEST). Unfortunately they are usually gone by the next morning.
Warranty Extras When you buy a Dell laptop, they may offer you (at cost) Dell after-hours onsite service or Dell Weekend onsite service support. If you call up (for tech support), you must specify if you want the after hours or weekend service instead of the standard “NBD support”. Also, weekend support must be confirmed by a dell technician before 4pm on a Thursday to get service on that weekend. Don't think, just because you have Dell After hours, Dell weekend, and Dell Next business day support meaning you can call up on Friday afternoon and get your comp fixed on the weekend.
Standard Warranty - Keep your receipt. Dell “warranty” starts when the payment is accepted or when the computer is built. It may be over a week before you actually receive your dell. Keep a record/receipt of the day the computer arrives.
If you have a complaint, when you speak to the operator ask to be forwarded to the “escalation center”. This is where the people speak better English and actually know what they are talking about.
