There is two ethernet ports per cube.

The second and third Asus cubes can be connected using Wi-Fi or ethernet.

Asus XD4S has a dual band wireless backhaul. It's not dedicated. A dedicated wireless backhaul is tri band or quad band.

Asus XD4S has a built-in router. Plugin one Asus into the nbn NTD box and configure the Asus WAN settings for your ISP.

The Asus XD4S does have a dual band wireless backhaul. NetGear Orbi wireless backhaul is dual band, tri band or quad band.
FTTP eligibility gets updated all the time. Have you checked the NBN link recently?

Deco E4 has two 100Mbps ports. If you have 250Mbps or Gigabit the Deco E4 will be a bottleneck.

nbn are going with XGS-PON for the FTTP network. The Nokia OLT being used can support 25GS PON, 50G PON, and 100G PON.

RSP is a name nbn made up and it stands for Retail Service Provider. Most just say ISP.

Do a factory reset all of the Deco's and update the firmware. If the Wi-Fi problem persists after that there might be a hardware problem.
