Pay $20 more, get a 32GB micro SD card (I'm guessing Class 6)
    and you get AUS warranty…

        not a bargain. Period.

If you need to send it back for repair
        think about the shipping

paying $20 extra makes things a lot easier

Yep Aussie stock and 32GB microsd for $20 extra, definitely worth it.

      • Poor Chux he posted 2 consecutive Samsung Galaxy S3 bargains !, now posts the S4 and BAM POW WHAM ! Oh how loving OZB has become… lol :P

        • while i dont agree with the actual neg votes, i can see the point though… HN offering better for only marginally more. i personally dont think the S4 is worth it at all right now… price is way to high but i know some people will be interested regardless of price. didn't know about the HN offer before posting and just compared to directly to Kogan who still have listed as "coming soon" and for the same price (without the free shipping). posted because i assume some in the community would be interested… but obvious now HN is the place to go to at this point in time…

Bah, just scrub if off Chux…

obvious now HN is the place to go to at this point in time…

That's what he is banking on you to say…, don't do it Chux !

the neg votes dont really bother me… i just see discussion as more important that straight up dismissal…
i comment saying maybe the post is better suited for forums and that i have requested it be moved and that comment gets more neg votes than the post itself :P

That's what he is banking on you to say…, don't do it Chux !

i can gladly admit when i'm wrong… gotta be thick skinned on here ;)

That would be a TWO YEAR local Australian Warranty when buying from Harvey Norman. So definitely worth $20 more, even without the bonus 32GB card.

Actually only $15 more after promo code 'WELCOME5'

$800!! good god! cant say that's really a bargain…. eek

    • Compared to what, being expensive in your books does not justify your neg vote.

  • I would have to agree, not a bargain.

Based on seeing my sister's Note 2 16GB, I definitely will wait for a sale on 32GB units. Yes I know there's an SD card slot, but current Androids no longer let you move apps to the SD card, so you have limited space for installing apps. I've also found updating apps on Play fails a lot due to "insufficient space" even though I have 6GB available. There must be some weird thing happening in the install process that temporarily requires more space during install than after install.

I am plus'ing thing deal to reduce the negativity.

    • hahaha cheers. you can never quite tell which way the community will swing… i see the validity of the harvey norman offer… but push comes to shove unique mobiles supposedly has some stock available now and i imagine some people would prefer the $20 difference in their pockets…

See update to post… see new post from MobileCiti for pre-order at cheaper price and for AUS stock…

  • Am I right to say AUS stock is Quad Core as to imported stock Octa-core?

    • I'm fairly certain you are correct there, but it would depend on which country it is imported from I suppose. The Exynos 5 is the Octa-core, which probably won't support our LTE bands in AUS.

    • The site claims it is selling the i9500 which is the octa core and so far has proven to be at least 15% quicker than the Australian model of the Snapdragon 600.

good work chux even for the discussion develped from the listing. good work mate

  • I really suspect the practicability of frangible S series mobilephone, hope the S4 do not show that like S3

    • I really suspect the practicability (sic) of frangible (sic) S series mobilephone (sic)

      Huh?

practicability "The quality of being usable"

frangible "Capable of being broken; breakable."
