Summary of Selected Current Deals from OzBargains

Moved to Forum: Original Link

What follows is a summary of selected current deals that I scour through here. This should help you save time, especially for beginners & time poor users.

Looks like the HOT Links do not work below by my cut & paste. So you need to search those you are interested to get the workable links. Sorry.

The easisest logistics is to put this website as (part of) your HOME page(s) so EVERY time you open a browser, it's there to remind you to go thru' the pages. Another way is to subsribe to its newsletter to get Daily Alert sent to you. Depending on the amount of itmes or services you need/want (e.g. you just move into a new home), you need to visit the site upto 3-4 times a day as sometimes, some great deals are gone within a few short hours e.g. 1000 FREE givewaway items may be gone in 2-3 hours. Some great deals lasts for days or even weeks though!

All these "tedious" logistics is a GREAT way to train your young children to have disciplines as well as life and money management. Read the attached .pdf file "OzBargain's Spirit" (cannot load up here after all. I lost my original Word file, otherwise, I'll cut & paste the excerpts from the acutal OzBargain comments here) see how tough you should play the money game with the banks. The trick to minimise your effort to get the $50 bonus mentioned there is to get items worth ~$33 from your preferred supermarket. Then go to its self-checkout counter to scan in your items. Pay them out once they reach just over $10 in total. Then repeat the same process twice so that you have paid with your new ME Bank's Master Debit Card 3 times to qualify for its $50 bonus per account. Sure, you need to do so within 30 days. So why not do it on the very next day you get hold of your debit card so that to get it out of the way to secure your $50?! Yo NEED grocery from supermarkets, don't you? Hope this's NOT your easiest $50 earned ever with NO risk though :) !

ALL the following are from www.ozbargain.com.au

Since Mothers' Day is just around the corner, so I'll put soemthing for them early below:

** Beware of the elusive "Free $30" in using the platform "Plus500" to trade Forex (Foreign Currency). Read my comment posted there here:

For what's on offer here, my OzBargain Friends, make sure you are only (go) for fun UNLESS you know exactly what you are doing. Trading is the HARDEST way to have an easy life or to get rich quick!! Write it down & out in front of your "trading platform" to save your sanity AND $$$.

Having said that, it's a good way for the old hands (i.e. those who had burned themselves before) to get back to the market if they have much better mental discipline to play this DANGEROUS MIND GAME.

    Forum post, begone!

  • +15

I thought ozbargain.com.au already summarised all ozbargain deals

  • +3

    I've got a headache now.

  • +6

There is no point to this. It's much easier to flick through the deals and pages because they're formatted nicely etc. Plus the point of truth is the deal, so we can see when deals expire etc.

Users may even subscribe to FB/Twitter/RSS to quickly view deals.

Ozbargain is a full-time job. Part-timers need not apply!

    WTF!
SPAM! - put it on the forums…
sounds like this should be a post from another forum.

  • +8

    WTH. www.ozbargain.com.au will be enough.

And you just made it HARDER to read.

  • +2

    WTF?

  • +9

Brilliant! It's like having the entire web site in one post. Why didn't someone think of this before?

  • +1

    That was quick =D

  • Try bookmarking/home page(ing) www.ozbargain.com.au/deals
Sorry I don't see how listing the deals that are already listed is a deal.

  • +8

    We need to go DEEPER!

    Bargainception!

  • This has got to be a joke.

  • +3

You sir, have a lot of time.

  • +4

It's obvious English is not JohnHo's first language. I think he had good intentions when making this post but parts of it are lost in translation.

  • Wtf man?

    Da fuq

  • Wow.
