  • Pretty good deal since can be used on Saturdays! Will be getting a few for sure.

err… so you wanna add the price of the book? The deal isn't available to 'everyone'.

    • Exactly, chances are most people are eligable for the Telstra $10.00 Event Cinema tickets as you're more than likely to have a Phone, Internet or mobile account with Telstra.

The cost of the book is average $65.00

      • I'm with Live Connected, thanks to Ozbargain of course :)

Will add price of book to writeup.

      • "more than likely to have a Phone, Internet or mobile account with Telstra."
        …or Optus

unless you're with Virgin or Vodafail…

  • use optus movie rewards to get $10 movie vouchers. you can use it for online bookings as well, no additional booking fees and it works from Xtremescreen as well! you don't need to be Optus customers to use the service.

there's no minimum limit too, you can buy it when you want to watch something.

    • Yep, Optus customers with a MyAccount get $10 Hoyts movie vouchers. Only downside is the non-availability on Saturdays after 5pm. Technically, you can create a MyAccount and get those movie tickets without needing to activate a service.

Speaking of which, you can do the same with Telstra without needing a Telstra service ($10 Event vouchers)

    • "you don't need to be Optus customers" what's the procedure?

  • Unlike the Telstra or ING deal, Optus include Hoyts in their movie options, tickets are $10 each with no postage cost, however they can't be used for Saturday nights as previously mentioned. So Optus is a much better deal still as long as you don't want to go Saturday night.

this isnt really a deal…. its normal price for entertainment book holders!

    • Not disagreeing but this isn't the normal price. Hoyts tickets aren't usually available online, only through a ent book voucher for which they are 2 for $26. This offer is only valid until Friday.
      :)

  • My ISP signed up Infinite Rewards for me without additional fees, and it gives me both cheap Event and Hoyts tickets! ($8.95 weekdays and $12 Saturday night)

  • If you're with redenergy for electricity or gas, as I'm sure many of our thrifty victorian oz bargainers are, you may be interested to know that they give access to a cutdown version of the entertainment book.

    • Tell me more .. I'd like to subscribe to your newsletter ..

  • Worth checking with your local Hoyts… mine has $9.90 tickets all day everyday (for 2D movies).
