  • Rep, are you crediting back the price difference to yesterday's buyers?

If a pick up is available, from where & when?

    • Absolutely. Our reps should have contacted you already. No pickup sorry.

      • Hi rep,
unfortunately no one contacted me, yet.

Your other (older) post "http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/105014" does specify about PICKUP availability.

Why not for this deal then?
After all, they are the same store & product.

        • The other post was not submitted by us, and pickup wasn't available either.

  • anyone know what these screens are like- cant really find much info

    • +6

      As the brand name implies…….
Soyea think the screen will be top quality for $529?

      • Top reply mate- f**kn helpful as :P

  • I've noticed most TCL's don't have headphone sockets. Does this one?

Can't find any specs for it- it's a cyber phantom model.

  • We're just pulling a manual from the units now, I've also taken some snaps of the boxes etc which I'll upload somewhere now.

As for the warranty, the TCL has 2 years and on the TCL site at the top there is a warranty statement/letter advising customers that buy before June 30th 2013 that an additional 1 year will be given, so the TCL is 3 years total in home TCL Australia warranty.

Here is info I got from esold re 39" TCL since there is no info available elsewhere. Still would appreciate some info on brightness levels & "smart" features. I think you need to give all the details possible if you're asking customers to buy something unseen. Please check the manual, esold.

    TCL LE39FHDF3300 39" Class LED HDTV - 1080p, 1920 x 1080, 16:9, 60Hz, 100000:1 Dynamic, 8 ms, HDMI, USB, VGA, Energy Star

Unfortunately I cannot confirm the features however it is the latest full HD LED TV with the same feature of other smart TV's.

This TV does support USB playback, hope this helps.

*Oddly, the model # they gave me above (LE39FHDF3300) is different from the one on their website (L39E3000F). It's the American model. Confusing.

    • Hi Lachyzee, I can't confirm that spec - and I apologize for that. The buyer here gave our customer service people that particular spec/info but you can see it is the 'F3300' model, we have the yet unreleased in Australia F3000 model. I cannot confirm if that is exactly the same spec at this point.

  • Thanks. Ignore that info then, everyone.

Please give us all the full specs ASAP :)

  • just bought the 55" 4 the missus….I pray the specs aren't horrible

  • Rep, can you not go and open a box and check the manual for specs?

    • Exactly what we did :) Unfortunately there are no specs at all in the manual. Here is a picture of the stock and side of box/spec etc HERE

      EDIT: Soyea Box/info HERE

      • luv the boxing kangaroo ;)

      • Ok. Disappointing. Can you see if there is any audio-out at all please? Analogue preferred but optical digital out is OK.

      • why you lie rep?? I received my so called 'TV' 2day. Despite the fact it came in 500 pieces in a smashed up box GUESS what I found in the manual?? SPECS!!!! CLEAR AS DAY. I repeat: Y U LIE REP?!? (believe me we'll be in contact even if I gotta drive 700kms outta my way I WILL get my $$$ back!!)

  • Just ordered one. Hope it doesnt sound as bad as the 40" Soniq TV I had to take back.

  • Reckon this would be the closest to 39" TCL
    http://www.tclusa.com/products/led/le39fhde3000/

    • Awesome find Maddykartik! I dare say that is exactly the model with a slightly changed code for Australian market. Looks identical.

EDIT: Urgh… that spec says 2 HDMI our box says 3 :( No dice…

  • Can you suggest a wall mount for this with a slight left/right pivot? This will need to go pretty close to a sliding robe door so don't want it sticking out too far.
Also does this have a sleep timer?
Lastly what would the expected delivery time to Perth be?

  • I can not see anything on TCL website saying l39e3000f is a smart TV, i assumed a smart TV is a TV can connect to internet , OP /seller, could you please clarify this TV can connect to internet?

  • Rep: have placed my order Friday, 31 May, 2013. When do you expect the units to be dispatched?

  • Rep: have placed my order Friday, 31 May, too. When do you expect the units to be dispatched?

  • Rep, i when are you expecting to ship the TVs?
Also, still no one had contacted me on the refund for excess amount charged.

Can you shed more light on the smart capabilities of this TV?

  • I have went over the TCL spec page and found the 39" LED TV is NOT a smart TV as Esold stated on their website, also I don't think they are ready to ship out the TVs on order.

  • I received an email from eSold that my order is shipped (have sent a AusPost track number)

But 39" TCL does NOT seem to be smart tv with internet capabilities.

  • They've now got some pics of the connectors:
    http://cdn.esold.com.au/images/desc/tclpic11.jpg and http://cdn.esold.com.au/images/desc/tclpic22.jpg
    I can see
HDMI x 3 (known from the website)
    Component In x 1
USB x 1 (known from the website)
    VGA x 1
3.5mm audio in x 1 (for VGA audio input)
    Antenna In
SPDIF (unsure if input our output) x1
    3.5mm Headphone audio out x 1

These last two I can't quite read the text in the image correctly but I think it is as follows:
AV out x 1 (Composite video, plus left and right audio out)
AV in x 1 (Composite video, plus left and right audio in)

  • REP: My 55" Soyea LCD tv was delivered 2day in literally 500 pieces. Glass was littered across my pavement from the Toll truck on the road to my bedroom. Upon opening the box (which looked like it had just been to war) I noticed something a little off (other than the glass everywhere). Looks like the Soyea tv that was advertised in the picture of your sale IS NOT THE ONE YOU SENT ME! So not only was it delivered destroyed (had 2 sign but is on record with Toll as damaged) but it is not even SIMILAR to the model in your pic. On top of all this my missus sliced her finger on the smashed up base and Im left vacuuming my house AND sweeping up outside- Thanks eSold ;)
I want a full refund including delivery (I could've dragged it home and have it look better than that), otherwise I will be filing a PayPal dispute (product was not as advertised PLUS damaged beyond use on arrival).
You can get Toll 2 pick you tv back up from the curb out the front of my house. Thanks for nothing :(

If I were you, I'd be very pro-active with your efforts to secure a refund/chargeback.

A mate of mine got dicked around by esold with a faulty GPS, kept getting the same BS response whenever he phoned to get an RMA: "give us your number again, somebody will definitely call you back"…nothing but deafening silence until his warranty ran out!

Not saying that they're gonna do this to you as well, but hey forewarned is forearmed.

      • Thanks for the heads up m8 really appreciate it, affirms what I've been thinking all day.
From the horrific delivery (could've been an accident- I'll give em that one), to rep being caught out saying the manual had no specs when in fact they take up a whole page clear as day (obviously he/she knew if specs were displayed NO-ONE would buy the TV), to (this is the real killer) a different TV being delivered (not even successfully mind you) than advertised- looks like your right on the money. If I haven't received my refund by lunch time 2morow I'll head to my bank or contact PayPal- whatever will get my $ back in my account quickest. Thanks again m8 :)

No probs, hope it goes well for you! :)

        • +1

I can understand you're upset but an obviously freshly damaged box is hardly the fault of the sender.

I am also puzzled by why you ever accepted and even signed for a large glass leaking, dangerous, carton of rubbish from Toll?

        • What has been the outcome? Did you receive all money back?

        • What about the tv being a totally different model than what was advertised?? What about rep lying and saying no specs were listed in the manual?? Like I said- I'll give em that delivery was an accident BUT the other BS is calculated.
As for signing, I was given NO other option by the driver. He recorded it as damaged and said that it MUST be signed for to start the 'insurance process' or something along those lines. I honestly thought that not accepting was an option….maybe I was lied 2.
Have been in contact with eSOLD and have been promised a refund. Sent thru a bunch of pics 4 them and Toll (as requested) so will give them until Fri before I charge-back. Keep you posted :)

        • +1

You can refuse goods, for future reference. I work for a supplier, and customers won't sign if stock is damaged. That other stuff is frustrating though.

        • will definitely remember that for next time- thanx m8

        • Yeah I reckon the Toll guys would have been suprised and pretty stoked you accepted it.

Good to hear eSold are going to look after you. I was looking at the TCL 39" but holding off now till I see more good feedback.

So what model did you get sent?

        • not 2 sure, looks absolutely nothing like the TV eSold advertised tho

        • Received a full refund 2day :)

  • I order a TCL on the 2nd June. Still waiting for it to arrive.

Has anyone received their TCL tv yet????

    • My TV arrived yesterday. Very happy.

  • I have received my tcl39" all good, thanks

  • Got my TCL too. It's direct LED fyi. Very nice piece of kit.

  • I placed an order for TCL 39" on 3/6/13 still haven't received the item.Any one who received the LED pls post review of the picture quality.

  • I have posted my thoughts here, won't be checking this thread anymore:

    http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies.cfm?t=2105275&p…

  • Price has gone up! $348 now.
Ah well, I'll wait until it drops back down.

  • I have ordered last night with the $298 price, lucky last…

However, my order is still "processing"…hope they will ship it soon

For those who already received, how long does it take from ordering to delivered?

    Thanks!
